Pink Moonstone (Pachyphytum oviferum) — Pearl Pink Egg Leaf Rare Succulent

Pink Moonstone is the more delicate and sought-after colour form of Pachyphytum oviferum — the same plump, perfectly round egg-shaped leaves, but in a soft blush pink that develops and deepens in good light conditions. The powdery surface coating gives each leaf a soft, velvety appearance. It's rarer than the standard white variety and more coveted among collectors.

Care Guide

☀️ Sunlight — Bright indirect light, 3–4 hours daily. The pink blush deepens with more light. Protect from harsh afternoon sun.

💧 Watering — Once every 14–18 days in summer. Every 28–35 days during monsoon. The egg-shaped leaves store significant water — err heavily on the side of underwatering.

🌱 Soil — Well-draining succulent mix: 50% cocopeat + 30% river sand + 20% perlite.

🌡️ Temperature — Thrives in 18°C–28°C. The pink colour is most vivid at the cooler end of this range.

✂️ Maintenance tip — The powdery farina gives the leaves their soft appearance — never touch them. The individual plump leaves propagate well — place on moist soil and small plantlets emerge from the base within 4–6 weeks.
